Ziggy Marley


Hablar sobre la descendencia del ícono reggae es un tanto complicada... ya que según lo que me cuenta mi tío Wiki tuvo 14 hijos! con 8 mujeres distintas... ¡caramba Marley!
Para que tengan una idea, éste es el panorama:

1er hijo: Nicola Marley(1963), con Cheryl Murray
2ndo hijo: Sharon Marley (1964), de Rita (su mujer oficial)
3er hijo: Cedella Marley (1967), con Rita Anderson;
4to hijo: David "Ziggy" Marley (1968), con Rita;
5to hijo: Stephen Marley (1972), con Rita;
6to hijo: Robert "Robbie" Marley (1972), con Lucille Pat Williams, una de sus novias en Trench Town;
7mo hijo: Rohan Marley (1972) con Janet Hunt.
8vo hijo: Karen Marley (1973) con Janet Bowen;
9no hijo: Stephanie Marley ( 1974); (hija de Rita.. pero dicen que Bob no es su padre biológico... sin embargo él se hizo cargo)
10mo hijo: Julian Marley (1975), con Lucy Pounder;
11vo hijo: Ky-Mani Marley (1976), con Anita Belnavis;
12vo hijo: Damian Marley (1978), con Cindy Breakspeare;
13vo hijo: Makeda Marley (1981), con Yvette Crichton;
14vo hijo: Nahum Marley (1981), con Lucy pounder.

Pues bien... semejante estirpe trajo consigo un racimo de talentos esperados. La mayoría de ellos comparten el amor por la música y se dedican a ello.
Hoy vamos a hablar de Ziggy Marley quien ingresó en el mundo de la música con tan sólo 10 años, quedándose "tras bambalinas" mientras The Wailers cantaban a miles de personas.
Su primer banda se llamó "the melody makers" y tenía una mezcla de rock, blues, hip hop y por supuesto: reggae. Éste último estilo musical, nunca pudo separarse de él... (creo que por razones obvias, no?). Para sorpresa de muchos (incluyéndome) Ziggy tiene 12 discos en la industria musical. Aquí dejo el disco editado en 2008 : In Jamaica.

PD: Ahh lei mucho en este blog sobre la "teoria combinada música/colores".. me intereso mucho la idea pero me considero un novato en la materia.. este disco seria una mezcla de verde/rojo/amarillo? jeje

Querido Fede yo creo que los colores que identifican al reggae están muy bien puestos. Cuando escuches el disco, cerrá los ojos y fijate que te imaginás.... y sobre todo de que color.
Para mi es un disco muy verde con pintitas rojas y amarillas =)
